Structural Rehabilitation of Fire Mains with RS BlueLine®
Aging underground fire service mains present significant challenges, including leaks, corrosion, and pressure loss. Traditionally, repairing these issues required costly and disruptive excavation, leading to extended downtime and infrastructure damage.
The Trenchless CIPP Solution
PTI Pressure specializes in high-pressure cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, utilizing RS BlueLine® from HammerHead® Trenchless. This next-generation technology creates a new, fully structural pipe within the existing one, extending its lifespan by over 50 years while ensuring minimal disruption. Compliant with ASTM F1216 and certified for potable water under NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, this method eliminates costly pipe replacement while maintaining fire system reliability.
Why Choose PTI Pressure?
With expertise in trenchless rehabilitation, PTI Pressure delivers cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions for municipalities, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Our CIPP lining method meets rigorous safety and performance standards, including FM Class 1616 certification, ensuring long-term protection against internal corrosion and system failure.
Key Features of RS BlueLine®
- Seals leaking joints and prevents future corrosion
- Supports internal pressure and external loads independently
- Rated for working pressures between 155 to 335 psi

Safe and Certified Process
Our trenchless technology for high-pressure pipe restoration is rated to the highest standards for safety and property loss as certified by the following organizations.

Why Choose High-Pressure Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation?
After years of use, fire service lines degrade, leading to leaks, corrosion, and pressure loss. Traditional excavation methods are costly, disruptive, and time-consuming. Fortunately, next-generation trenchless CIPP technology offers a stronger, longer-lasting, and minimally invasive solution.
Our RS BlueLine® system provides a fully structural Class IV renewal that meets NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standards, ensuring reliable performance for decades. This advanced pipe lining method eliminates leaks, prevents internal corrosion, and extends the lifespan of critical infrastructure without the need for full replacement.

Minimally Invasive
Seamless CIPP installation with no major excavation, reducing disruption and preserving existing infrastructure.

Extends Asset Life
Reinforces pipes with a multi-layered, fiberglass-reinforced liner, preventing future deterioration and significantly improving durability.

Cost-Effective
Avoid costly trench digging—RS BlueLine® rehabilitates pipes from within, saving time and money while ensuring compliance with AWWA and ASTM F1216 standards.
How it works
Inspection and Preparation
We complete a visual inspection of the pipe with video technology, verifying pipe diameter and the details of the job
Clean the Pipe
Next, we clean the pipe to remove any loose particles and potential obstructions before the re-lining takes place
Liner Preparation and Impregnation
Then, the liner is saturated with epoxy resin while under vacuum (an ASTM F2994 compliant process) and prepped for installation
Installation and Cure
Finally, the liner is installed into the host pipe with an inversion method (compliant with ASTM F1216) and cured with steam or hot water
Liner Termination
